Ambulance Services
On an average 27 accidents occur daily, leaving two to three people dead and about 21 injured. With an increase in the number of vehicles, the possibilities of accidents only seem to be increasing by the day. In such circumstances, it is common to find commuters driving away, unmindful of the accident, leaving the victim to suffer and sometimes even to die.
‘Bethel Ambulance Services’, launched by Bethel Medical Service is an attempt to lend a helping hand to such accident trauma-victims. The idea of ‘Bethel Ambulance Services’, a project conceptualized and implemented by Bethel Medical Service is to provide free ambulance service to victims of accidents.
Conceived in 2004, the primary objective of ‘Bethel Medical Services’ is to help accident victims be transported from the spot of the accident to the nearest hospital.
In pursuit of this programme, Bethel Medical Services has derived a simple way of contacting under emergency circumstances. Most of the accident victims are left to die not just because of the legal implications that may arise on helping them but also due to lack of immediate support such as non-availability of a vehicle to transport the victims to hospitals.
The round-the-clock ambulance service is facilitated by Bethel Medical Services. It is a non-profit organization which provides free trauma care delivery to accident victims and also for emergency cases arising at homes in Bangalore. The ambulance is well equipped with life-saving equipment and first-aid instruments.
