Master Of Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy profession plays a very important role in returning the patient to functional independence and restoration of normal lifestyle. Physiotherapist's utilize an individual's history and physical examination in diagnosis and treatment and if necessary, will incorporate the results of laboratory and imaging studies. Electro diagnostic testing (e.g. electromyograms and nerve conduction velocity testing) may also be of assistance. The course is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is recognized by The Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
Course Information
MPT is a 2 year program and offers area of specialization in Musculo skeletal disorders and sports physiotherapy, Neurology and psychosomatic disorder, Cardio respiratory disorder and Intensive care, Community Based Rehabilitation and Pediatric physiotherapy. The program is supported with specialized teaching and lab facilities with state of the art equipment.
Entry Requirement
B.Sc. (PT) or BPT from any recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate.
Assessment
The assessment is based on the lab work, practical training sessions and term examination.

Successful candidates can look forward to join out-patient clinics or offices, in-patient rehabilitation facilities, extended care facilities, homes, education or research centers, schools, hospitals, industrial workplaces or other occupational environments, fitness centers and sports training facilities.
